Ladies and Gentlemen I a former avid Starcraft player am finally making my comeback on Blizzards sequal to Starcraft/Starcraft: Broodwar, Starcraft 2. The download client is up and running right now so the eta is a few hours away from completion. I have been brishing up on my love of the starcraft universe for a few weeks now and i believe that i have the back story down.
For those of you who have absolutely no prior knowledge of starcraft let me fill you in on some minor details. The game plays out like a real time strategy, because thats what it is. there are two modes, online battlenet, and offline campaine. There are three playable factions the terran, protos, and the zerg.
Anyways il be writing an in depth review of the game once i have given it a full and hearty playthrough. Hopefully il fall in love with the mechanics of this one the same way i did the predecessors, and remember we dont update much.
Ps: my lack of posting in the past month or so has been for personal reasons.

Yeah im late: A Dragon Age Origins Story
Believe me when i say this i play way too many shooters for my own good, and keeping this in mind there are very few shooters out there now that i consider to be actually good. Team Fortress 2 will still holds the position as my favorite shooter of all time of coarse Halo 2(RIP) will always be in my heart(MW2,Halo3,Battlefield2, and Gears or War 1&2) all titles i believe to be decent shooters and don't mind playing them if someone online needs a partner for the nights escapades. I however wasn't always this way, no i began gaming with the SNES,N64,and PS1&2 those being my first systems i have a healthy love for action adventure and RPG titles.
The current North American gaming market is flooded with shooters, with their shortened single player experiences, and and very "polluted" multiplayer experiences it is hard to find a company willing to make a really great game. Now that this is established i can say, BioWare is one of my favorite companies in today's market for one reason and one reason only, "THEY MAKE GREAT GAMES". With precise dialogue and great game play mechanics, they have pumped out title after title of pure gold. For example: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, and the game i will be discussing Dragon Age Origins.
Dragon Age Origins was a bright light to me when it was first announced mainly because i hadn't played a good North American RPG for quite a while (probably since Mass Effect 1), and when i heard of the development of the game i was quite surprised. I remember reading an article on my favorite gaming news site www.kotaku.com ,I believe the article was something about BioWare to make new fantasy RPG or something along those lines and i immediately walked to the local game shop and placed my preorder. I was so excited on release night that despite my work shift the next morning i waited in line for the midnight release and didn't sleep just so i could play it as soon as possible.
I began by playing with the Dailish elf origin story and I have to say it ended up being one of my favorite out of the entire of the game. The first thing that struck me about playing Dragon Age was the amazing transition between cinematics and gameplay, when I finally clued into the fact that the writing was so masterfully crafted (10 points for BioWare), I smiled and said yeah I can play through this game six time. Yeah it was that good I usually give a shooter one maybe two play through attempts before tossing the disk in the corner of things to play online when very tired. Now that I think about the game I only had one "real problem", and that would have been the load time's, Dragon Age just randomly go into a loading screen mid game play with no real warning.
Anyways that's my thoughts on Dragon Age Origins I loved it and I hope you did too, and to all the readers the next games I will be reviewing will be: record of the agarest war(when it is released and I finish it), Bayonetta (cause yeah you haven't heard enough about it yet),Final Fantasy 13 (a great injustice indeed), and Battlefield Bad Company 2 (if i can find the disk). This is codemonkey singing off and remember we don't update much.

OMG another blog about video games!
Hi obviously this is the first post of my new blog "we don't update very much", i am making it a point and habit to ignore the title but of course that isn't always the case when what one is writing about could take a multitude of hours to complete. Therefore i dispose to you as my readers my "Spamable" email address (codemonkey69@gmail.com) this becomes important on my trip to internet fame.
Well here it goes down to the basics the games that i will be reviewing in the coming months will include for the time being only xbox 360 games, and Nintendo DS games this is due to a lack of payment in the internet blogging industry (insert laughter here). Anyways back onto the points i tend to have a quite unbiased opinion on video games and all things of the sort this being the primary reason i am being asked to write this blog. Not that bias is always a bad thing just that there is just plain too much of it in the modern gaming market.
This will be the conclusion of my introduction to you all though most people who will read my blog may never get the opportunity to read this. I hope to make my articles towards actual gamin quite a bit better than this short little entry. Thank you all for reading and i hope you enjoy the content and if you don't you're either wrong or stupid.
